1. Be Upfront and Honest

Once you have agreed upon a salary and the benefits you desire, it’s time to make it official. This means getting everything in writing and having the company sign on the dotted line. Always look over every last detail on the paperwork to ensure that when you sign, you won’t have any issues in the future.

If you agreed upon an extra week of vacation or a salary review in 6 months, make sure it is included.
